We are located in the Northwest corner of Arkansas, a short distance outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas -- an amazingly beautiful little Victorian village. Circle of Light is on five wooded acres that overlook beautiful, pristine Beaver Lake with the hills of the Ozarks beyond. Our spectacular sunsets are legendary. The setting, natural surroundings and vibration evoke the "New World." The Center is completely guided by God through the extraordinary Messages given daily through Yael. We are so blessed!

Yael speaks: I had seen the eyes of my SoulMate in a dream. In 1986 when I arrived at a spiritual camp in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Doug entered the room. I recognized his eyes from across the room. Our hearts were drawn together and we knew we were each other's destiny (our minds fought a little!). After two months, we said vows to each other. The moment we did, the Messages began in earnest. It was as though our Love had unlocked an awareness or ability to understand what God was telling us.

For many years we lived in Eureka Springs proper where we developed our own beautiful bed and breakfast/wedding business called Garden of Dreams. Doug found the property that became Circle of Light while sailing on the lake. It was a beautiful house that was half-finished on five wooded acres with spectacular views of Beaver Lake. We knew immediately that it was meant to be ours. Amazing events with the intervention of Spirit allowed us to buy it. Doug's talent for carpentry, iron working and many other things made the property beautiful and functional as a wedding chapel. After being there a short while, we created a Merkabah around the property and dedicated it to our work for God. Shortly after, God brought Shanna to us.

In our years of marriage we have overcome many challenges, including ego. The physical disability that came upon me years ago is still with me, and requires constant care and attention to my body. I am still mostly housebound. I have learned that this body serves a beautiful purpose, allowing God to touch all strata of the consensual reality here on Earth -- from the highest to the lowest. This understanding has helped me to view my disability in a new way. Through the receipt of the Messages over the years, I have dedicated and re-dedicated myself to God and to the awakening of humanity to who we really are. We have learned so much from the Messages. They have opened us and led us to help others.
 
 

Doug speaks: On our 13th anniversary, July 11, 1999, Yael and I were guided to do a renewal ceremony - a Sacred Marriage in the New World, dedicating ourselves completely to service, to humanity's transformation. We also pledged to each other and to God the total opening of our hearts. We celebrated this renewal at sunset on the deck of our beloved home, Circle of Light. The sunset colors lit up both sky and water. We were attended by three of our dearest friends.

As soon as we completed the ceremony, we felt a shift. A few weeks later, we began receiving a series of amazing Messages from God on SoulMates, the subject of our first book. These Messages answer many questions that people have asked about Love, SoulMates and relationships. Our work has unfolded from there and continued to expand. We now understand the reasons for all of the personal struggles we have been through. We are sharing all that we have been shown, the tools and the awareness that can assist in the creation of the deep Twin Flame relationship we are experiencing and that all are meant to have. God is ever expanding us with an ever greater vision of opening the heart of Love on Earth.

Shanna speaks: I met Yael and Doug Powell on July 17th, 2001. God led me right to them through a series of synchronous events. It was Yaël's birthday. Yael rarely leaves her home but she and Doug had decided very spontaneously to celebrate the occasion with a close friend in Fayetteville. That friend had graciously agreed to host me, a complete stranger, for a few days, while I explored the Fayetteville, AR area.

As I sat with Yael and Doug that evening, I was fascinated by their obvious living love for each other that pervaded their every word and movement. I learned about Yael's constant pain from a genetic disease of the spine that severely limits her movement, and about Circle of Light, their spiritual center in Eureka Springs. Following dinner Yael read one of the "Messages from God" that have come through her during thirty years of daily meditation. I felt indescribable excitement and upliftment from the extraordinary vibration created and the amazing information of this Message. The topic was SoulMates.

We quickly recognized ourselves as the ancient Soul Family we are, and spent two bliss filled days together at Circle of Light, reconnecting, sharing our lives and our spiritual journeys. Our coming together was divinely guided, step-by-step. Doug showed me (the then) fifty hand-written notebooks of Messages from God! I committed myself on the spot to moving to Circle of Light and utilizing my writing, editing and organizational skills to help them bring this illuminated material out into the world.

After our initial reconnection and before I moved to Circle of Light, I experienced a period of great emotion during which I came to the realization that my heart was not fully open. A grand clearing followed. On August 5th during my meditation, a man appeared before me, dancing in the ethers around me. My guidance gave the information that he was my Twin Flame. At first I was startled and resistant, but soon I realized I knew him as myself and my excitement knew no bounds.

Over the following months Pra, my Twin Flame, and I developed an extraordinary contact in the higher dimensions, all of which I recorded meticulously. In this period I traveled upward into the etheric realms for over 30 visits with him during which we would fly, skate, dance (things are "light" and in constant movement in the higher dimensions), travel to other planets, experience ecstatic LoveMaking, visit Circle of Light and travel into future Time to see the Earth refreshed and pristine. I would float up to meet him during my meditation and the visit would unfold before me like a movie. I would actually experience it physically and emotionally, AND watch it at the same time. The Love between us, as God promised, is of the purest and highest resonance, joyous, ecstatic and eternal.

The Messages from God through Yael quickly began speaking about Pra. Pra and I had a long and deep relationship with Yael and Doug and our work together in this lifetime was pre-ordained. We learned that Pra functions as the upper end of the bridge from the old to the New World that is being created at Circle of Light. His guidance in our lives soon became evident as my communication ability with him accelerated and I learned to integrate his energies into the one being we are, ShannaPra. Pra guides all of our work at COL, assisting us on every level with books, workshops and every aspect of our work. Thus we have represented at Circle of Light both SoulMates (Twin Flames) in embodiment and SoulMates (Twin Flames) in consciousness.

Life here is a series of miracles. The natural beauty of the lake, mountains and surrounding woods creates the feeling of the New World. Every day Yael meditates several hours, bringing through the amazing Messages from God. Doug and I adjust our daily responsibilities to facilitate her life. I assist in managing both our active wedding business and our spiritual center as the Messages from God go out into the world. I have the joyous feeling of knowing I am in the right place at the right time, with my Twin Flame and my spirit family, doing the tasks for which I came. Our commitment as a spiritual family is to bring God's Message of awakening forth to our brothers and sisters.
